We keep our options for what we wash your items in very simple, both to make it clear for you and to driver efficiency.
At signup, and at any other time in our app, you can select your cleaning preferences: type of detergent and/or fabric softener you prefer.
Please keep in mind that we are unfortunately not able to accommodate to you sending in your own detergent, softener and/or other cleaning products.
Detergent Options - Scented or Unscented/Hypoallergenic
There are two generic options you'll get to choose from: either our scented detergent or our unscented/hypoallergenic option, which is the safest bet for those of our customers who might have issues with allergies or simply prefer a more neutral treatment of their clothes.

Fabric softener
Softener is an effective way to keep the fabrics of your clothes soft and wrinkle-free. It also helps reduce friction between fibers, which creates less static cling and helps product your clothes from wear and tear, making them last longer than if you were to go without. Not to mention, it's an easy way to add a splash of fragrance to your laundry.
You can opt to use fabric softener at sign up or adjust your preferences in the 2ULaundry app. Whether or not the fabric softener is scented will depend on your detergent preference: if you chose scented detergent, your softener will be scented and the same with unscented.
Where do I adjust my preferences in the app?
Open/login to the 2ULaundry app
Select the Profile tab in the bottom right
Scroll down, under Your Locations and Your Payment Methods, and select Edit Default Cleaning Preferences
Under the Laundry tab at the top, select if you want Scented or Hypoallergenic (unscented) and if you want fabric softener or not. The options you have selected will have a white background (unselected options will be in gray).
Select the pink "Save Changes" button at the bottom when you have selected the preferences you want.
