What do 2ULaundry drivers need for a successful pickup?
Most of the reasons our drivers have to move on from a pickup attempt are preventable. We’ll help to note everything as we take you through the onboarding process. Or, you can update pickup and delivery instructions at any time. Please ensure you:
- Specify the earliest and latest business hours during which our drivers will be able to complete a pickup
- Specify the exact location our drivers can find laundry bags for pickup (door, desk, closet, etc.)
- Keep documented gate codes or door codes up to date, if applicable
Updating Location Notes
You may edit your location notes in the 2ULaundry account portal. On the Overview or Account tabs, scroll down to your address and select ‘Add instructions’.
Business Hours
Our drivers can be on the road anywhere from early morning to late evening. However, you may specify business hours for your location if needed, and we will make our best effort to accommodate them while planning our drivers’ routes for the day.
What pickup and delivery windows can 2ULaundry accommodate?
The wider the window you are able to set, the better. For example, a 9 am – 5 pm window is usually doable, while an 11 am – 3 pm window is challenging. When in doubt, please contact us before specifying your hours. Otherwise, we will contact you if we run into any issues.
Pickup and Delivery Locations
While our drivers will work to accommodate any reasonable requests, our first choice is always to pick up and deliver laundry just outside the front door of a business or housing unit. This is the fastest and least error-prone version of the process.
Otherwise, any consistent, clearly identifiable (or labeled) pickup area will work — just let us know in the location notes!
