Our wash and fold bags are for "regular laundry" and vary in appearance based on which market you're in. The basics:
If you're in CLT, SAT, or TPA, your laundry bags are black and box-shaped (like the photo above). They hold, on average 30 lbs.
If you're in AUS or HOU, your laundry bags are blue and in the shape of a traditional laundry bag. You have an option of 2 sizes, large and x-large. The large bag holds on average 27-30 lbs and the x-large holds on average 35 lbs.
Your first orders can go in trash bags/disposable bags. Make sure to label the bags for the correct service. They will be transferred to our bags and then returned that way at delivery so you can reuse our bags going forward. Important note: 1 trash bag does not necessarily equal one of our bags as sizes of trash bags vary. Please be aware that if one of our bags can't hold all items in one of your trash bags, we will transfer them to new bags and there will be an additional charge.

How much laundry goes in the bag?
Charlote, San Antonio, or Tampa: the black laundry bag can hold around 30 lbs of weight, which is 2-3 smaller loads of laundry, or 1 large load (varies by machine)

Austin and Houston:
LG blue bag: holds around 27-30 lbs of weight, which is 2-3 smaller loads of laundry, or 1 large load (varies by machine)
XL blue bag: holds around 35 lbs of weight, which is 3-4 smaller loads of laundry, or 1 large load plus a small load (varies by machine)
Our weight and load amounts listed here are just estimates and may vary based on specific items placed in the bag. We encourage you to fill your bag as full as possible - as long as the zipper can close! - to make sure you're maximizing value in your order.
How is the regular laundry bag processed?
Items in the wash & fold bags get treated like regular laundry: they are washed, dried and folded before being delivered back to you. We have a streamlined process that ensures no items are left in the pockets before they are placed in a washing machine, and all of your clothes are washed with cold water and dried at around 140°. Due to processing constraints, we can't change the washer or dryer temperature of your laundry load but you should expect all laundry to come back to you clean, wonderfully folded, and without issue.
What should go in my laundry bag?
These bags should hold your everyday laundry, which includes most clothing and other items that you would run through your personal washer and dryer. If clothing items require or recommend a delicate wash, you should use our delicate bag instead. If your clothing items need pressing or dry cleaning, please use our dry-cleaning bag. While our clothing care associates do their best to pull clothing that they feel should not be processed as regular laundry, we can't guarantee that this will happen if items are not in the correct bag and are not responsible for damage if items are placed in the wrong bag.
You're welcome to put sheets and towels in your regular laundry bag with your clothing items if they fit. However, do not place any clothing items in you have in your linen bag (any clothing items found in the linen bag will be transferred to a regular laundry bag and that new bag will be charged to your order).
